My name is Charlie, I have been drawing and illustrating and taking photographs since I was a child, computer-drawn, water colour, acrylic and pen & ink. My main interests are Cars & Aircraft. The passion for art and photography was inspired by my father Alfie Poole. In the family, we have a large collection of unseen and unpublished photographs.

There is fantastic family history to some of these photographic images. Where I have specific information on the subject, this will be included in the item description. My father, Alfie, and grandfather (George Poole) were prolific photographers. After WW11 Alfie left the RAF and worked for one of the largest advertising agencies in Central London as a copywriter and photographic journalist. Grandfather (Irons) was a talented cabinet maker. My uncle George was a world-renowned sculptor. My sister, Suzi Long, is a water colour and pen & ink artist, many of her works are commissions or limited editions. I have a selection of some of her work on my website.

I have worked in both public and private industry. Producing CAD drawings, illustrating technical manuals and images for use in educational publishing. These exclusive designs have been created by me, Charlie Poole.
