Jaguar XK 140 Fixed Head Coupé. The photograph was first released in 1954/1955. This is the only known image that had been colourised for a magazine publication (unknown). This colourised photograph was retrieved from a box of advertising material collected by my father. Although the blue wash seems overly bright I think this is a fantastic period image. I scanned the original image and enhanced it in Photoshop. The Jaguar XK140 boasted 190 b.h.p. with a claimed 140mph top speed, accelerating from standing to an impressive 60 m.p.h. in just over 8 seconds. The badges shown are the XK140 and the XK140 Winner Le Mans. Jaguar had wins in 1951 & 1953 with the 'C' Type. The badges were photographed by me.
