MGB & MGB GT Limited Edition Poster 1981 This poster was very large so I photographed it first then added the information regarding the limited edition models. There were 580 GTs built, all Painted in Pewter (metallic silver) and 420 Roadsters all Painted in Bronze Metallic - This poster was probably produced in 1981 specifically for the Limited Edition Cars The LE cars were all produced in Abingdon until the plant closed on 22nd October 1980. The cars were then stockpiled before being released for sale in January 1981, therefore, most cars have a ‘W’ or ‘X’ registration number. The advertisements in this section have a generic description, as to list the specifics of each advertisement, would not be an easy task. The majority of these adverts have benefitted from total restoration. Some have been re-typeset. Some have original photographs inserted, if available. Some have logos and badges added. Any badge, if photographed, is from my personal library. Any logo will have been re-drawn by me in Photoshop or Corel Painter. Some of these are totally original recovered from agency “mock-ups”.
