The Sunbeam 350HP is an aero engined car built by the Sunbeam Company in 1920. This was the first of several land speed record-breaking cars with aircraft engines. Sir Malcolm Campbell drove the borrowed car at the Saltburn Speed Trials on 17th June 1922 and broke his first speed record at 138.08 mph The main picture of Blue Bird was taken by my father, I believe the photograph was taken in the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu in 2012. There are numerous photographs used in this image. The background is my creation using my photographs in Corel Painter.
