Baker Street London ~ Acrylic Pop Art This totally unique image was created by using a Kopykake Kwik-Draw KD200 projector, this keeps the images as close to the original photographs as possible. The first step is to take the newly made acrylic paint medium and scan into Photoshop® and finally manipulate in Corel Painter to create this ‘Pop Art’ effect. Original photograph by Bill Zygmant, a Fleet Street photographer, who captured images from the swinging sixties including Harold Wilson, with his pipe, the Queen, streakers on Westminster Bridge and musical celebrities such as Jimi Hendrix and the Beatles. The original image, taken in 1968 shows ‘The Beatles Store’ on Baker Street London. My father worked on Baker Street in the 1960s and I believe that the A1 sized photograph, which I now own, was given to him by Bill in 1968. The copyright to this art image belongs to me Charlie Poole© Image size A3 Supplied on a Satin Photographic paper, SRA3 = Size 330mm x 483mm.
